Job summary

INNOTEC SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a technically competent IT Support Technician – Security & Surveillance Systems to provide on-site and remote support for CCTV, IP surveillance, access control and related security equipment at customer sites in Singapore.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance with IT, networking and security knowledge. Responsibilities include installing and configuring cameras, NVRs/DVRs, testing systems, resolving network issues, supporting servers

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in IT, CS, CE, electronics, electrical engineering, security systems or related field.
  • Relevant technical certificates or practical experience encouraged.
  • 1–2 years in CCTV/security IT support preferred.
  • Good knowledge of IP networking, TCP/IP, LAN and PoE.
  • Familiarity with CCTV/NVR/DVR and video management systems.
  • Basic server, NAS and storage troubleshooting.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites.
  • Singapore Class 3 driving licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for CCTV and security surveillance systems.
  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs and CCTV management software.
  • Troubleshoot network-related issues involving IP addresses, LAN, PoE switches, routers and network connectivity.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network-connected CCTV devices and security equipment.
  • Perform system testing, diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot CCTV issues such as camera offline, intermittent recording, video loss, network disconnection and storage/HDD issues.
  • Assist with installation and troubleshooting of Access Control Systems, card readers, door controllers and related software.
  • Support security system servers, NAS, storage devices and backup systems.
  • Perform firmware upgrades, software installation, system configuration and basic system recovery.
  • Conduct onsite diagnosis and identify faulty equipment or cabling.
  • Assist with CCTV camera replacement, recabling, PoE switch replacement and system upgrades.
  • Prepare service reports and document technical findings and corrective actions.
  • Liaise with customers to understand technical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal technical teams for hardware replacement and technical support.
  • Participate in planned preventive maintenance and emergency service calls when required.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new security and surveillance systems.
  • Able to standby at night or over weekends when required.
  • Perform other technical duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

We are looking for a technically competent IT Support Technician – Security & Surveillance Systems to join our team. Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Security Systems or a related field.
  • Candidates with relevant technical certificates or practical experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • 1–2 years of experience in CCTV, security systems, IT support, networking or a related technical field preferred.
  • Good knowledge of IP networking, TCP/IP, IP addressing, LAN and PoE technology.
  • Familiarity with CCTV, NVR/DVR, IP cameras andvideo management systems.
  • Knowledge of Access Control Systems will be an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of servers, NAS, storage and HDD troubleshooting.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Able to read basic network diagrams and system drawings.
  • Comfortable working onsite at customer locations.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to travel to customer sites when required.
  • Singapore Class 3 driving licence will be an advantage.
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • 5.5-day work week
