Job Description:

As a Service Technician for Security Systems, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing CCTV and card access systems. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining security equipment, ensuring its functionality and reliability.

Job Requirements:

• Perform on-site installation of CCTV system, door access control system, network switch, electrical conduit, wiring and cabling etc.
• Programming of IP camera, Analog Camera, Network Video Recorder (NVR), Digital Video Recorder (DVR).
• Installation, maintenance and servicing of a wide variety of equipment including but not limited to: CCTV systems.
• Labelling and inventory management for CCTV equipment.
• Check HDD recording of each DVR/NVR in all sites at least on a monthly basis.
• Experience in troubleshooting CCTV, card access security system, intruder detection system, carpark barrier.
• Resourceful with good problem-solving, presentation and data analytics skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team, collaborate with colleagues at all levels and provide good customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

• System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CCTV and card access systems to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues with security systems promptly and efficiently.
• CCTV and card access technical support on field security equipment, coordinate and escort of third party vendor to facilitate rectification work.
• Repairs: Conduct repairs on security equipment, including CCTV cameras, access control panels, and related devices.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering technical guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities, including service reports and equipment inventory.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years in related field
• Minimum Nitec or Higher Nitec Certificate or certificate of related discipline
