Job summary

CHINA HARBOUR (SINGAPORE) ENGINEERING COMPANY PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable IT Support Professional to provide first-level onsite and remote assistance for hardware, software, networking, and applications.

You will support site offices, manage IT assets, user accounts, and vendor coordination, ensuring secure access and reliable IT resources across the Singapore operations.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma, certificate or equivalent qualification in Computer Technology, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of laptop and desktop computer systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting and IT helpdesk support.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server, computer networking and TCP/IP.
• Good analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and resolve technical issues.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills when providing support to users and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level onsite and remote IT support for hardware, software, network and application-related issues.
• Support site offices on IT-related matters, including the procurement, installation, configuration and troubleshooting of IT equipment.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers regarding the procurement, repair, maintenance and payment of IT equipment and services.
• Maintain and regularly update the IT asset inventory to ensure accurate records, accountability and the availability of IT resources.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions, including onboarding/offboarding, account creation/modification/deletion, access permission management, DingTalk, file server and VPN access, and backup of critical data.
• Monitor IT security systems to detect unauthorised access and respond appropriately to potential security threats.
