Job summary

GD PRECISION PTE. LTD., located in Singapore, is seeking an entry-level IT support specialist to assist users and keep desktops, printers, and other equipment functioning efficiently.

You will support Windows operating systems, basic networking, and office software; assist with servers/NAS/backup tasks, document IT assets, and collaborate with the Malaysia IT team to support regional operations. Fresh graduates welcome and opportunities to learn new technologies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT or related field.

• Baseline knowledge of Windows OS, hardware, and networking.
• TCP/IP, LAN/Wi-Fi, printers, and endpoint troubleshooting basics.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, NAS, backup or virtualization is a plus.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-level IT support to users in the Singapore office.

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.

Support Windows operating systems and common business applications.

Assist in maintaining servers, NAS storage, backup systems, and network infrastructure.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, email, and network connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime.

Assist in IT projects, software deployment, system upgrades, and office IT setup.

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and external IT service providers for maintenance and support activities.

Maintain IT asset inventory, software licensing records, and technical documentation.

Support basic cybersecurity practices, including endpoint protection, user account management, password resets, and security best practices.

Work closely with the Malaysia IT team to support regional IT operations when required.

Learn and adopt new technologies to improve IT support and operational efficiency.

Perform other IT-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and networking.

Basic understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/Wi-Fi, printers, and endpoint troubleshooting.

Familiarity with Windows Server, NAS, backup solutions, or virtualization is an advantage but not required.

Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
