Job summary

GovTech Singapore, within the Data Innovation & Protection Group (DIPG), drives data-driven tech and PDPA enforcement. The Systems Governance Branch oversees IT systems for staff and the public, including the national DNC Registry and in-house case management.

Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science, Information Science, Project Management or a related field.
• 3-7 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong IT knowledge, with excellent knowledge in the management and maintenance of IT systems.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to execute project requirements and manage stakeholders effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that translate analysis into solutions meeting business objectives.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Resourceful, self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operations of the systems to ensure continual availability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and support their needs to manage the development and enhancement of the system.
• Oversight of the support services for the systems and Point of Contact for users to elevate operational issues.
• Identify, analyse and propose solutions to fulfil business requirements and recommend potential areas for improvement.
• Translate business requirements to vendors and stakeholders and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
• Manage vendors in the execution of the system development and maintenance, ensuring quality and timely deliverance of services.
• Assist in preparation and delivery of project reports and dashboards, providing key data insights to support decision making.
• Provide project management support, including project progress management, resource management and risk management.
• Provide incident management support, including planning and executing incident management processes, identifying key issues and solutions, and facilitating communications to stakeholders.
• Support the overall team’s responsibilities in planning, implementation and maintenance of divisional IT software and systems.
• Support and participate in enterprise change management for existing and new projects.
