in Singapore invites an IT Specialist to support the IT help desk, ensuring SLA-compliant responses and timely resolutions. The role covers on-premise and cloud infrastructure, hardware/software installation, user management, backups, VOIP, and cross-team collaboration. You will document configurations, manage assets, and participate in projects while maintaining a proactive training approach for users.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-years of MIS or related experience.
• ITIL Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Working experience with Windows Servers, Cloud system, Router, and Network Switches.

Responsibilities

• Support IT help desk services to ensure SLA-compliant response and resolution times.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop applications and infrastructure.
• Install and configure hardware and software applications.
• Maintain IT infrastructures both on-premise and in the cloud: servers, switches, wireless network across multiple offices.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure smooth functioning.
• Perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Support VOIP, conferencing and mobile service requests.
• Liaise with other support teams or product teams to resolve requests promptly.
• Act as a contact point between helpdesk operations, other teams, and vendors.
• IT assets and inventories management.
• Lead projects, implementations, configuration, and maintenance of systems.
• Ensure proper documentation of all IT infrastructure setups, licenses, and modifications.
• Design and conduct IT user training on systems under IT Department purview.
• Continuously update technical knowledge and skills.
• Other ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.
