Job summary

Job responsibilities

1. Technical Support
   • Provide first-level technical support to end users (hardware, software, network issues).
   • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems via email, chat, or in person.
   • Log, track, and update support tickets in the IT helpdesk system.
2. Hardware & Software Setup
   • Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, printers, and peripherals.
   • Support deployment and setup of new laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
   • Perform software updates, patch management, and antivirus checks.
3. Network & Systems Maintenance
   • Support basic network troubleshooting (LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity).
   • Monitor and maintain network equipment under supervision.
   • Assist in managing user accounts, passwords, and permissions (e.g., Active Directory, Office 365).
4. Inventory & Documentation
   • Maintain IT asset inventory and update records of hardware/software usage.
   • Document troubleshooting procedures and user guides.
   • Support the preparation of IT reports and documentation.
5. Cybersecurity Support
   • Assist in enforcing IT security policies and data protection practices.
   • Support end-user awareness on safe computing and phishing prevention.
6. Project Assistance
   • Participate in IT infrastructure upgrades, tech refresh projects, or system rollouts.
   • Work closely with the IT team on ad hoc technical projects and testing.
