Job summary

HongYeGroup seeks an IT Support specialist to provide daily IT, network, and robot support across client sites. You will assist onboarding, equipment setup, and user training while handling biometric devices and site demonstrations.

The role requires basic cybersecurity awareness, documentation, and ability to travel islandwide for deployments and support, with English and Mandarin proficiency to liaise with China counterparts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or related field.
• Windows OS, networking, printers, mobile devices; basic troubleshooting.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and time management.
• Able to travel islandwide for client-site support.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to support China counterparts and diverse users.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily IT and robot support for clients.
• Onboard/offboard staff, equipment setup, recovery, and basic user training.
• Support biometric devices at client sites (hotels, malls, hospitals, etc.).
• Troubleshoot applications and systems; manage patches, fixes, and upgrades.
• Assist with cybersecurity checks, backups, patches, and VPN/firewall support.
• Support robot mapping, setup, testing, and client demonstrations.

Job Responsibilities

• Primary Responsibilities: IT Support & Robot Support

IT Support

• Provide daily IT support for computers, software, networks, printers, office equipment, user accounts, and IT assets.
• Support staff onboarding/offboarding, equipment setup, recovery, and basic user training.

Biometric Device & Site Support

• Support biometric devices at client sites such as hotels, malls, hospitals, and other locations.

Application, System & Robot Support

• Support applications and systems, including troubleshooting, request tracking, escalation, patches, fixes, and upgrades.
• Support robot mapping, setup, testing, and client-side demonstrations for cleaning robot projects.
• Secondary Responsibilities: Cybersecurity, Requirements, Documentation & Training Cybersecurity & Audit Support
• Assist with basic cybersecurity checks, backup reviews, patching, security logs, and VPN/firewall support.
• Support penetration testing and audit activities, including evidence preparation and remediation follow-up.

Requirements, Testing & Documentation

• Assist with requirements gathering, testing, user guides, technical documentation, and training materials.

Requirements

• Diploma in IT or a related field.
• Basic IT support knowledge, including Windows, networking, printers, mobile devices, and common troubleshooting.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel islandwide for client-site support, setup, troubleshooting, and deployment when required.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to support communication with China counterparts and diverse users.
