Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking an IT Specialist (Finance Services, Perm) to provide Level 1–2 support for end users, including executives, onsite and remotely. You will manage PC setups, VDI, Workspace One, M365, and ensure security patches and inventory accuracy.

The role requires a bachelor or diploma in IT and 5+ years in IT support, ideally in finance or high-performance environments, with discreet, confidential service for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT support experience, ideally in finance services.
• Demonstrated expertise with VDI, Workspace One, Windows OS, M365, MS Teams, and MDM.
• Proven ability to provide confidential white-glove support to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and 2 IT support for end users with professionalism.
• Deliver discreet, proactive support for executives and high-profile users onsite and remotely.
• Set up and troubleshoot PCs, trading phones, virtual desktops, mobile devices, printers, and core business apps.
• Maintain accurate IT and logistics inventories and apply system updates and security patches promptly.
• Administer Active Directory, print services, VDI environments, and Workspace One.
• Collaborate with Corporate IT, Logistics, HR, and hiring managers to ensure smooth transitions.
• Ensure secure, well-maintained workspace with reliable lighting, HVAC, and safety compliance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance support efficiency and user experience.

About the job IT Specialist (Finance Services, Perm)

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely, high-quality Level 1 and Level 2 support for end users, ensuring all incidents and requests are resolved with professionalism and precision.
• Deliver discreet, responsive, and proactive support for executives and high-profile users, both onsite and remotely.
• Oversee the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of PCs, trading phones, virtual desktops, mobile devices, printers, and key business applications (Windows OS, M365, MS Teams, Office Suite).
• Maintain accurate IT and logistics inventories, apply system updates and security patches promptly, and uphold data integrity across all platforms.
• Perform routine administration of Active Directory, print services, VDI environments, and Workspace One.
• Partner with Corporate IT and Logistics teams to execute technology and facility projects, ensuring alignment with global standards and timelines.
• Coordinate with HR and hiring managers to ensure smooth transitions, including account provisioning, workspace setup, and office access.
• Manage local facility services such as lighting, HVAC, electrical systems, cleaning, and safety compliance, ensuring a secure and well-maintained work environment.
• Identify opportunities to enhance support efficiency, user experience, and workplace effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT support experience, ideally within a financial services or high-performance corporate environment.
• Demonstrated expertise with VDI, Workspace One, Windows OS, M365, MS Teams, and mobile device management.
• Proven ability to provide white-glove support to senior management and C-suite executives, with strong judgment and confidentiality.
