Job summary

gmp recruitment services (s) pte ltd is seeking a seasoned Project/Programme Manager to drive business case development, governance and change management across digital transformation initiatives in a corporate banking context.

You will coordinate between local business units and Head Office, ensuring projects align with strategy and governance, while delivering on regulatory and reporting requirements. Strong SDLC and governance experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project or programme management, business analysis, preferably in technology or digital transformation.
• Proven experience delivering technology projects in corporate banking or financial services environments.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and change management frameworks.
• Experience with regulatory reporting requirements (MAS/JFSA) and conducting fit-gap assessments against business, regulatory and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Business Case Development: Collaborate with business units to prepare comprehensive business cases, business plans, and cost-benefit analyses to secure project funding approval.

• Governance & Approval Management: Present and clarify Applications for Approval (AFA) to relevant approval committees, ensuring compliance with global and local governance standards.

• Change Governance: Manage the end-to-end system change approval process, ensuring all required reviews, sign-offs, and approvals are obtained before deployment.

• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between local business units and Head Office, facilitating effective communication and coordination.

• Strategic Alignment & Reporting: Ensure local project portfolios align with corporate strategies, governance frameworks, and Head Office reporting requirements.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project or programme management, business analyst, preferably within technology or digital transformation initiatives.

• Proven experience delivering technology projects in corporate banking or financial services environments.

• SDLC knowledge: solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and change management frameworks.

• Experience with regulatory reporting requirements, including MAS and/or JFSA, and conducting fit-gap assessments against business, regulatory and compliance requirements.

• Tools: proficient with project management tools and governance tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow.
