Qualifications

IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager to lead and deliver technology projects within a financial services environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, including planning, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, technical delivery, risk management, testing, deployment and post-implementation support.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, information security, risk and compliance teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with the organisation's technology standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Manage end-to-end delivery of technology projects, including project planning, scope definition, budgeting, resource allocation, timelines and milestones.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business users, IT teams, senior management, external vendors and third-party service providers to align project objectives and delivery expectations.
• Technology Delivery: Coordinate application development, system enhancements, infrastructure upgrades, cloud migration, system integration and other technology initiatives.
• Requirements Management: Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, dependencies, issues and delivery challenges. Maintain project RAID logs and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
• Governance and Reporting: Prepare project status reports, steering committee presentations, project plans, budget tracking and management updates.
• Vendor Management: Manage vendor deliverables, service levels, contractual obligations and project dependencies.
• Change Management: Coordinate business readiness, user communications, training and operational handover to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
• Agile Delivery: Apply Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project management methodologies according to project requirements and organisational practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accountancy , Business Information Systems or a related discipline.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in IT project management, technology delivery or programme coordination, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of managing complex technology projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid delivery.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Exposure to financial services regulatory and compliance requirements in Singapore.
