Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage IT hardware sourcing, supplier evaluation, and purchasing operations.

You will obtain quotations, compare specs, negotiate terms, issue purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining records and building supplier relationships. This role collaborates with Finance, Warehouse, Sales and Operations to meet procurement requirements and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Procurement, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in IT.
• Basic knowledge of IT products and services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers and vendors for IT hardware and related products/services.
• Obtain quotations and compare prices, specifications, quality and delivery terms.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and payment terms with suppliers.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders for IT hardware and related products/services.
• Ensure timely delivery of IT hardware, equipment and services.
• Maintain procurement records and purchase documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Resolve supplier-related issues such as delays, quality concerns, shortages or product discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with Finance, Warehouse, Sales and Operations on procurement requirements.
