Job summary

Singapore Institute of Legal Education is seeking a hands-on IT Support Associate to install, configure, and maintain end-user devices across laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.

You will respond to user inquiries via ticketing system, email, or phone, ensuring timely resolution, support AV equipment, maintain deployment docs, and manage hardware inventory including asset check-in/out and licensing. This is a fixed-term role based in Singapore, running from Sept 2026 to 31 Mar 2027.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices (laptops, tablets, mobiles).
• Respond to user inquiries via ticketing system, email, or phone with timely resolution.
• Set up and troubleshoot AV equipment (sound, projectors, screens, mics).
• Develop and maintain installation, deployment, and inventory documentation.
• Manage hardware inventory and software licenses; asset check-in/out and disposal.
• Conduct annual asset verification.
• Provide e-exams logistics and proctoring support.
• Assist in End User Computing projects as assigned
• Contract Period: Sept 2026 to 31 Mar 2027

About the role

This role reports to the Head of IT. You will install, configure, and maintain end-user computing devices, including laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. You will respond promptly to user inquiries and service requests via ticketing system, email, or phone, ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain end-user computing devices, including laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
• Respond promptly to user inquiries and service requests via ticketing system, email, or phone, ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment and systems, including sound systems, projectors, screens, and microphones
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentations on installation, deployment, and inventory checklists
• Manage hardware inventory and software licensing allocations including asset check-in, check-out, disposal, tagging, naming and registration in Asset Management System
• Perform annual asset verification exercise
• Provide e-exams logistic support including packing e-exams items, checking usability of e-exams items, testing e-exams backup wi-fi and testing walkie-talkie
• Provide support at the Bar Exams as e-proctor
• Assist in any other End User Computing related projects as assigned
• Contract Period : Sept 2026 to 31 Mar 2027

About you

• Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• 2 - 3 years of IT-related working experience in supporting Windows 10 & 11 OS, Macintosh OS, IOS, Android, Microsoft 365 services, and other common desktop applications
• Prior working experience in technical support role (end user device support)
• Good interpersonal skills to handle internal and external users and/or situations
• Keen to learn and a good team worker
