• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale Azure environments.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server, cloud networking, and infrastructure operations.
• Experience leading major incidents, bridge calls, and outage management.
• Vendor management and coordinating 3rd line infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the organisation's cloud infrastructure environment, focusing on Microsoft Azure (VMs, networking, storage, identity, security).
• Administer Entra ID and Windows Server environments, backups, DR, and high-availability infrastructure.
• Oversee network operations including Azure networking, firewalls, NSGs, SD-WAN, Palo Alto Prisma VPN, and Cisco infra.
• Lead major incident management and coordinate bridge/SWAT calls during outages.
• Manage change and operational processes to keep services stable and secure.
• Coordinate with service desks, infrastructure engineers, vendors and partners to resolve complex issues.
• Support Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Bicep and improve operational processes.
• Manage vendor relationships ensuring SLAs and objectives are met.
• Provide technical leadership to 3rd line teams while hands-on with troubleshooting.

• Manage and support the organisation's cloud infrastructure environment, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, identity management, and security.
• Administer and maintain Entra ID, Windows Server environments, backup solutions, disaster recovery processes, and high-availability infrastructure.

• Coordinate with service desk teams, infrastructure engineers, vendors, and external partners to resolve complex technical issues.
• Lead bridge calls and SWAT calls during critical incidents, providing clear communication to technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Support Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Bicep and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and cloud environments.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships, ensuring service delivery standards and operational objectives are met.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to 3rd line infrastructure teams while remaining hands-on with troubleshooting and infrastructure operations.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT Operations, Infrastructure, or Cloud Operations, with proven experience managing enterprise-scale environments while remaining hands-on with technical troubleshooting and support. They will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server, cloud networking, and infrastructure operations, alongside solid knowledge of networking technologies such as SD-WAN, Palo Alto Prisma, VPNs, and Cisco infrastructure. The successful individual will be comfortable leading major incidents, bridge calls, and outage management activities, demonstrating strong decision-making, stakeholder communication, and vendor management skills in high-pressure situations. Candidates who have experience leading or coordinating 3rd line infrastructure teams, driving operational excellence, and balancing technical responsibilities with operational leadership will be particularly well suited for this role.
