Job summary

SAGL Consulting is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in Singapore to design, implement, and support enterprise cloud and hybrid environments primarily using Microsoft Azure. You will manage Azure IaaS/PaaS, Azure networking, Entra ID/Active Directory, and hybrid cloud integrations, while ensuring security, backup, DR, and compliant operations across on‑premises and cloud resources.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in cloud/infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS.
• Experience in Azure networking, Entra ID/Active Directory and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with Windows Server and VMware/Hyper‑V.
• Knowledge of cloud security, backup/DR and ITSM processes.
• Azure certifications and PowerShell scripting experience are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Azure IaaS/PaaS infrastructure, including VMs and cloud services.
• Manage Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateways and ExpressRoute.
• Administer Entra ID/Active Directory in hybrid cloud environments.
• Support cloud migration and infrastructure modernization from on-premises to Azure.
• Manage cloud security using Defender for Cloud and related controls.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure availability, performance, capacity and security.
• Maintain Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V in hybrid environments.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Perform vulnerability management, patching, incident resolution and troubleshooting.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.

• Design, deploy and manage Azure IaaS/PaaS infrastructure, including virtual machines and cloud services.
• Manage Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateways and ExpressRoute.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID in hybrid cloud environments.
• Support cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation projects from on-premises to Azure.
• Manage cloud security using Microsoft Defender for Cloud and related security controls.
• Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure availability, performance, capacity and security.
• Manage Windows Server, VMware/ESXi and Hyper-V infrastructure supporting hybrid cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions, including RTO/RPO requirements.
• Perform vulnerability management, patching, incident resolution and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.

Requirements
