Job summary

Senoko Energy Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced infrastructure specialist to own and evolve a hybrid cloud and on-premises environment in Singapore. You will shape architecture, ensure security and reliability, and deliver solutions that meet critical business needs.

You will work with internal stakeholders, IT teams, vendors and contractors to translate requirements into practical solutions, deliver projects on time and within budget, and improve performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline (or diploma with equivalent skills).
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect and Microsoft Azure Administrator certifications required.
• At least five years of relevant experience across IT system support, enterprise infrastructure, cloud technology management and project delivery.
• Advanced capability in cloud infrastructure design and architecture (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Strong ownership, self-motivation and accountability for systems under care.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure across production, staging, QA, DR and development environments.
• Oversee provisioning, configuration, scaling, deployment, monitoring and security across compute, storage, networking, connectivity, logging and DR.
• Develop and review infrastructure strategies to align with business objectives.
• Introduce new infrastructure services balancing business needs, performance and cost.
• Plan and manage infrastructure expenditure and savings opportunities.
• Advise application, database and other IT teams on infrastructure policies and best practices.
• Lead technical issue resolution and patching, backups and system maintenance.
• Plan upgrades, refactoring and robust monitoring regimes.
• Manage warranties, contracts and software license renewals.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and asset records.

We are looking for an experienced infrastructure specialist to take technical ownership of our hybrid cloud and on-premises environment. As our subject-matter expert, you will shape infrastructure architecture, ensure platforms remain secure, resilient and fit for purpose, and deliver technology solutions that support critical business needs.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, IT teams, vendors and contractors to translate business requirements into practical solutions, deliver projects on time and within budget, and continuously improve performance and cost efficiency.

What You’ll Do

• Design and manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure across production, staging, QA, disaster recovery and development environments.
• Oversee provisioning, configuration, scaling, deployment, monitoring and security across compute, storage, networking, connectivity, logging and disaster recovery.
• Develop and regularly review infrastructure strategies and architecture to keep them aligned with business objectives.
• Introduce new infrastructure services and capabilities that balance business needs, performance and cost.
• Manage infrastructure expenditure, identify savings opportunities and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Advise application, database and other IT teams on infrastructure policies, architecture standards and best practices.
• Stay ahead of technology changes and proactively manage their impact on the environment.

Drive Reliable IT Operations

• Lead technical issue resolution, including escalation to Level 3 support and service providers, through to closure.
• Oversee patching, configuration, backups, replication and routine maintenance.
• Plan and execute upgrades, refactoring, major maintenance and a robust system‑monitoring regime.
• Manage equipment warranties, support contracts and software licence renewals.
• Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and asset records throughout the IT equipment lifecycle.

Deliver Infrastructure Solutions & Projects

• Design and implement scalable, cost-effective infrastructure for new and existing business systems.
• Assess IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions against the architecture roadmap and cybersecurity requirements.
• Manage stakeholders, vendors and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members.

What You’ll Bring

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline. Diploma holders with equivalent skills, certifications and experience will also be considered.
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect and Microsoft Azure Administrator certifications.
• At least five years of relevant experience across IT system support, enterprise infrastructure, cloud technology management and project delivery.
• Advanced capability in cloud infrastructure design and architecture, as well as IaaS, PaaS and SaaS management.
• Intermediate experience delivering IT infrastructure and systems projects.
• Strong technical proficiency, attention to detail and a genuine interest in technology.

• Adaptability and curiosity to explore new technologies that support business initiatives and improve existing processes.
