Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited is seeking an IT Operations professional for its 24x7 Command Center in Singapore. The role focuses on real-time monitoring of Mainframe, AS/400, UNIX/Linux, and Windows systems, handling batch operations, incident management, and first-level support.

You will work 12-hour rotating shifts, collaborating with infrastructure and application support teams to ensure high service availability and smooth audits.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on IT operations experience in a command center or similar environment.
• Familiarity with mainframe, AS/400, UNIX/Linux, and Windows systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system platforms, apps, ATM services, and network in real time and escalate as per SOPs.
• Track and manage scheduled batch jobs to meet SLAs and resolve failures.
• Identify, escalate, and track incidents to reduce disruption to business operations.
• Provide first-level diagnosis and resolution before escalation.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and app support teams during incidents and maintenance.
• Maintain operational logs, incident records, and shift handover documentation for audits.
