Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd in Singapore seeks an IT Operations professional to ensure continuous operation of the bank’s IT systems across Mainframe, AS/400, UNIX, and Windows in a 24x7 Command Center.

You will monitor platforms, manage batch jobs, and handle incidents with a collaborative team in a high-pressure environment. 12-hour rotating shifts are required, with a strong focus on availability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations or Command Center environment.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Real-time monitoring of system platforms, applications, ATM services and network infrastructure using enterprise monitoring tools and promptly escalate issues to the appropriate support teams.
• Track and manage scheduled batch jobs, ensure timely execution and resolution of failures per SLAs.
• Identify, elevate, and track incidents to the proper support teams to minimize disruption to operations.
• Perform first-level diagnosis and resolution of system and batch issues before escalation.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application support teams to coordinate responses to incidents and planned maintenance.
• Maintain accurate operational logs, incident records, and shift handover documentation for audit and compliance.
