ARGYLL SCOTT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. invites an IT Manager to oversee Singapore IT operations, blending hands-on technical work with team supervision and liaising with overseas IT stakeholders.

The role covers end-user support, infrastructure reliability, and applications across corporate and outlet environments, with a focus on security, backups and disaster recovery. A strong background in Microsoft technologies and ERP/POS is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant IT experience.
• Practical experience administering Microsoft infrastructure, including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure and Active Directory.
• Experience supporting POS and ERP systems.
• Broad understanding of networking, infrastructure operations, IT security, backup and recovery.
• Experience managing vendors, coordinating projects and supervising or guiding IT colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily IT operations across corporate and outlet environments, ensuring reliable infrastructure, applications and end-user support.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Oversee network infrastructure, connectivity, system availability and incident resolution.
• Support POS, ERP and related business applications, coordinating troubleshooting and enhancements with users and vendors.
• Deliver IT projects, including system upgrades, technology deployments and outlet infrastructure setup.
• Maintain IT security controls, access management, patching, backups and disaster recovery arrangements.
• Support IT audits, maintain documentation and implement local policies aligned with organisational standards.
• Manage IT vendors, service agreements, procurement, assets and budgets.
• Supervise a small IT team and coordinate with regional and global technology stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions and recommend operational improvements.

Our client is an established organisation in the retail and food services sector, seeking an IT Manager to oversee its Singapore IT operations. This role combines hands‑on technical responsibilities, team supervision and collaboration with overseas IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily IT operations across corporate and outlet environments, ensuring reliable infrastructure, applications and end-user support.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.

• Support point-of-sale (POS), ERP and related business applications, coordinating troubleshooting and enhancements with users and vendors.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central or SAP would be advantageous.

Working Arrangement

• Singapore-based role.
• Hybrid arrangement with two work-from-home days per week.
