Charterhouse Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Manager to join a regional manufacturing company in Singapore. This high-impact role suits those who thrive in dynamic environments and possess a strong background in operations and process improvements.

You will lead IT strategies, ensure security of networks and data, and manage a team of IT administrators, including training staff and supporting operations across the network and server infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS is required.
• 7+ years in IT management or similar roles.
• Proven experience with IT systems and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of IT security practices and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and implement IT strategies to meet business objectives.
• Ensure network stability, security, and minimal downtime.
• Implement backup strategies for data preservation and disaster recovery.
• Act as ISO Management Representative and Personal Data Security Officer.
• Manage IT administrators including training and staff support.
• Oversee operations of network and server infrastructure.
• Oversee vulnerability and threat management and risk identification.
• Implement patch management to reduce risk.
• Ensure data backup, recovery, and security of network infrastructure.
• Comfortable working at Tuas area.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You’ll identify, develop, and implement IT strategies and solutions to achieve business objectives according to Company IT security policies.

• You’ll ensure that the network is stable, secure, and running with minimum downtown.

• You’ll implement effective backup strategies for data preservation and disaster recovery and to understand and be able to support and enhance legacy systems.

• You’ll act as the ISO Management Representative as well as the Personal Data Security Officer.

• You’ll manage a team of IT administrators, including providing training and support to staff.

• You’ll manage operations of network and server infrastructure.

• You’ll oversee vulnerability and threat management, including potential risk identification.

• You’ll implement effective patch management to reduce risk.

• You’ll ensure adequate data backup and recovery and the security of our network infrastructure.

• Comfortable working at Tuas area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s of science (Information technology/Computer Science is a must)

• Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in managing IT systems and infrastructure.

• Knowledge of industry computer and hardware system.

• Relevant experience with the testing and troubleshooting of IT systems, disaster recovery.
