Strategy Solutions Services is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to collaborate with clients on project status, proposals, and system design across networks. You will coordinate development tasks, install and configure hardware and software, manage servers and storage, and monitor performance to maintain system integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia & Information Technology, Infocomm Security Management, Computer Engineering.
• Fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, DNS and DHCP.
• Basic Windows Server and Linux administration knowledge.
• Working knowledge of servers, storage, virtualization, cloud computing and backups.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Intro to cybersecurity, access control, system hardening and patch management.
• Ability to document systems, diagrams, procedures and test reports.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and obtain relevant certifications.
• Prior data centre experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Communicate project status and proposals with clients.
• Coordinate system development tasks including design, integration and testing.
• Install and configure hardware and software, implement, warranty and support activities.
• Monitor system performance and assess operations to ensure integrity and issue resolution.
• Oversee transitions into production with testing, analysis and retesting for glitches.
• Develop and finalize actions in system specs, technical and logistical requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and test reports for planning and execution.
