Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. seeks an IT infrastructure professional to plan, implement, monitor, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.

The role involves troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive measures to minimise recurrence, ensuring services meet SLAs and performing routine maintenance. The candidate will document technical reports, work with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and server/storage environments, and participate in standby duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Unix/Linux, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure services, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, email, databases, and web/application servers.
• Experience in OS, system, and network hardening, as well as patch management.
• Familiarity with servers, SAN/NAS storage, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Knowledge of SQL, Java, C++, or JavaScript is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, monitor, and maintain project hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Perform troubleshooting, fault rectification, and root cause analysis, implementing preventive measures to minimise recurrence.
• Ensure operational systems meet contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and operational support activities.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and technical reports.
• Perform standby duties when required.
