Job summary

Upper Spring Consulting is seeking a self-motivated IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's team with experience in network, firewall security, systems, or cyber monitoring. You’ll translate requirements into robust infrastructure, support operations, and ensure service continuity in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement standard configurations, perform troubleshooting, and document workflows.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT-related fields as listed.
• Experience in system engineering and IT support is a plus.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver on time.
• Customer-centric with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of networking and engineering disciplines is beneficial.
• Able to work in a 24x7 rotating shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate system development tasks including design, integration and testing.
• Install and configure hardware and software, and support activities.
• Monitor system performance and ensure operational integrity.
• Oversee transitions into production with testing and validation.
• Develop documents for system specifications and technical requirements.
• Maintain programmatic and technical documentation.
• Communicate with customers and manage incident triage and troubleshooting.
• Document system configuration and upkeep.
• Investigate product problems across software, firmware, hardware and docs.
• Oversee hardware, import, performance, monitoring, backups and upgrades.
