Job summary

Quess Singapore is seeking a Business Analyst cum Tester on an 8-month contract in Singapore. You will understand requirements, design end-to-end testing strategies, and develop test scripts. You will also perform UAT and document results for stakeholders.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in IT or BIS, with 2 years of experience in business analysis and testing; fresh graduates are encouraged. Insurance domain experience is a plus. Remuneration up to SGD 4,900 per month.

About the Company:

Our client is a Singapore-based Insurance organisation.

• Role: Business Analyst cum Tester (8-month Contract)
• Remuneration: Up to SGD 4,900 per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand functional requirements, able to apply business and functional knowledge to design comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies.
• Validate that solutions align with the organization’s continuous improvement strategies and contribute to operational efficiency
• Develop test scripts and execute tests throughout the application lifecycle. Able to formulate test scenarios and test plans, conduct user acceptance testing, update test results with proper documentation and prepare UAT status scorecard for stakeholders
• Log defects and issues discovered during testing, including clear description, steps to reproduce and potential impacts on business processes.
• Maintain awareness of technical progress and risk for assigned projects, confer with technical personnel to resolve issues and drive corrective actions. Track and monitor defects with Tech and Ops, if required.
• Communicate test results and potential impacts to business analysts and business stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned on the findings and recommendations.
• Prepare a user guide and conduct training to operational users on any new deployment.
• Ensure risk and compliance standards are followed for every change.

Qualifications:
