Job summary

QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Business Analyst to support IT solutions across insurance distribution channels. You will review business specs, develop test plans, document requirements, and coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure timely delivery of quality systems.

The role emphasizes effective communication with the IT department, strong analytical skills, and experience with UI/UX considerations. A degree in IT or related field and 5+ years BA experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, IT, or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in BA role, preferably insurance domain.
• Analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Familiar with MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Effective documentation and communication.
• Experience in managing IT projects and administration is advantageous.
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and how to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces.
• BA experience from banking/insurance or experience with insurance domain, sales engagement, UI/UX design, cross platforms integration.

Responsibilities

• Review Business Specifications, develop & execute Test Plan and User Documentation to ensure timely & quality delivery of IT solutions
• Ensure that user requirements are effectively and accurately communicate to IT Department
• Ensure solutions and systems provided meet business objectives
• Responsible for Functional Testing of systems before release to UAT for User Testing
• Plan and conduct feasibility studies and functional analysis of business requirements
• Support User Acceptance Test Planning & automated and manual testing.
• Organize and co-ordinate all implementation activities and user acceptance testing
• Continually assess the effectiveness of business specifications and testing methodology in terms of contents and format
• Develop & review User Guide and Standard Operating Process (SOP)
• Handle any other project or duties as assigned by HOS / HOD

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• 3.1 Provide support system enhancements which includes testing and resolving of issues, raising enhancement and liaising with user requirements and IT Department / Developer
• 3.2 Maintain a risk and compliance culture with zero tolerance for regulatory breaches and fraud, supporting and delivering Fair Dealing outcomes. Perform random check on system behaving correctly after ported to production.
• 3.3 Assist in the management of the various systems for different distribution channels which cuts across different business line. This includes the implementation of different initiatives by different channels.

The department is responsible for providing system management for all the public facing customer application which include the purchase journey, payment flow and issuance of the policy.

• 6.2 Timeliness in completion of user requirement review, test plan development & test execution
• 6.3 Accuracy on test plan development & test plan execution

COMPETENCIES
