Job summary

Quess Selection & Services seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to bridge business needs and IT capabilities in our Singapore operations.

You will review specifications, drive test plans, and document requirements to ensure timely, quality IT solutions.

Applicants should have 5+ years in BA, preferably in insurance, with strong analytical and communication skills and solid MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, IT, or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in BA role, preferably in insurance domain; POS portal experience preferred.
• Analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Familiar with MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Effective documentation and communication.
• Experience in managing IT projects and administration is advantageous.
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and how to create user-friendly interfaces.
• BA experience from banking/insurance or cross-platform integration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review Business Specifications, develop & execute Test Plan and User Documentation for timely delivery of IT solutions.
• Ensure user requirements are effectively communicated to IT Department.
• Ensure solutions meet business objectives and pass UAT.
• Plan and conduct feasibility studies and functional analysis of requirements.
• Support UAT planning & automated/manual testing.
• Organize implementation activities and user acceptance testing.
• Assess testing methodology effectiveness and update as needed.
• Develop & review User Guides and SOPs.

Salary: up to SGD 7450 (Depending on overall experience and skills)

Job Description

• Provide support system enhancements which includes testing and resolving of issues, raising enhancement and liaising with user requirements and IT Department / Developer
• Maintain a risk and compliance culture with zero tolerance for regulatory breaches and fraud, supporting and delivering Fair Dealing outcomes. Perform random check on system behaving correctly after ported to production.
• Assist in the management of the various systems for different distribution channels which cuts across different business line. This includes the implementation of different initiatives by different channels.

Job Responsibilities

• Review Business Specifications, develop & execute Test Plan and User Documentation to ensure timely & quality delivery of IT solutions
• Ensure that user requirements are effectively and accurately communicate to IT Department
• Ensure solutions and systems provided meet business objectives
• Responsible for Functional Testing of systems before release to UAT for User Testing
• Plan and conduct feasibility studies and functional analysis of business requirements
• Support User Acceptance Test Planning & automated and manual testing.
• Organize and co-ordinate all implementation activities and user acceptance testing
• Continually assess the effectiveness of business specifications and testing methodology in terms of contents and format
• Develop & review User Guide and Standard Operating Process (SOP)
• Handle any other project or duties as assigned by HOS / HOD

Competencies
