Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled network engineer to provide post-sales technical support for Huawei enterprise networking solutions in Singapore.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize networks, support design and deployment activities, and prepare technical documentation. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/Telecom, CCNA/HCIA certification, and Mandarin proficiency. Hands-on IP routing, switching, WLAN, SDN, and security knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Provide post-sales technical support for Huawei enterprise networking solutions, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and network optimization.
• Support network solution design and implementation for customers and channel partners, covering routing, switching, WLAN, SDN, and network security.
• Participate in network project implementation, including site survey, installation, configuration, commissioning, migration, testing, and maintenance.
• Perform post-sales project implementation and technical support for Transmission SDH/HMSTP/WDM equipment such as on-site survey, installation, planning, commissioning and maintenance.
• Prepare technical documents such as technical proposals, MOP, RFC, UAT and test reports.
• Conduct technical presentations, solution walkthroughs and PoC demonstrations for customers and channel partners.
• Work closely with regional, HQ, Singapore teams and customers to deliver projects and resolve technical issues.
• To collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ team

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication or related disciplines
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of IP networking and network technologies, including routing, switching, WLAN, firewall, VPN, SDN, and network security.
• Good understanding of optical transmission technologies, particularly WDM and OTN, with knowledge of network topology, redundancy, traffic engineering, and network optimization.
• Familiarity with network automation and programmability, with hands-on experience in Python, Ansible, Netmiko, NETCONF/RESTCONF, or other network automation tools and frameworks.
• CCNA or HCIA certification is mandatory; equivalent networking certifications may also be considered.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, site surveys, network deployment, testing, and project implementation when required.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to support cross-border collaboration, policy and document interpretation, and communication with the Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts, and customers based in China.
