Job summary

China Telecom Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Network Architect in Singapore to design and deliver enterprise network solutions (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls) aligned with project and business needs.

You will document architectures, collaborate with security, systems, and app teams to create secure, scalable end-to-end solutions, and ensure high availability and SLA adherence across multiple environments. Fluency in English and Chinese is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in enterprise networking roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with networking products and protocols from Huawei, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper.
• Solid understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, BGP/OSPF, VLANs, and VoIP.
• Proven experience on projects in banking or financial services sectors.
• Ability to draft and present comprehensive network deployment plans for enterprise environments.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese for liaison with stakeholders.

• Document detailed network architecture, deployment, and migration plans for customer projects and internal operations
• Work closely with cybersecurity, systems, and application teams to deliver secure, integrated, and scalable end-to-end solutions
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network systems across multiple environments
• Lead or participate in financial sector projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards
• Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, and contribute to establishing network architecture standards
• Take ownership of maintaining and managing existing customer networks, ensuring stability, performance, and adherence to SLAs
• Act as the technical point of contact for enterprise clients, including handling escalations, troubleshooting, and driving strategic network improvements
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and recommend enhancements to meet evolving business needs
• Effective bilingual in English and Chinese because the candidate needs to liaise with English and Chinese speaking clients and colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a technical leadership or team lead role
• Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid environments
• Experience managing disaster recovery (DR), network migrations, or core banking infrastructure projects
