Job summary

Pivot Search is seeking a Network Engineer to join our client’s Singapore team. The role offers hands-on experience across enterprise networking, security, storage and HCI in real customer environments.

Fresh graduates are welcome; 1–3 years of experience is advantageous. Strong fundamentals in TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, WLAN and network security are expected, with some exposure to STP/LACP/OSPF/VXLAN. Mandarin communication is required and travel may be occasional.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering or related disciplines.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 1–3 years of relevant experience advantageous.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, WLAN and network security.
• Exposure to STP, LACP, OSPF, VRRP, VXLAN, firewalls, virtualisation, storage or HCI is a plus.
• Python or Ansible knowledge is an added advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin; role supports Mandarin-speaking customers and teams.
• Willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support network deployment, configuration, migration, testing and cutover for customer project.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support and troubleshooting.
• Monitor network performance and diagnose network/infrastructure issues.
• Support technical POCs, solution testing and project implementation.
• Work closely with customers, project managers and engineering teams throughout project delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation and support customer handover and knowledge transfer.
