Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in retail management, marketing, or related fields.
• Proven experience in retail management or sales.
• Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and budgeting processes.
• Proven ability to develop and implement retail promotion strategies.
• Positive, friendly, and organized.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work within opening hours (evenings, holidays, weekends).

Responsibilities

• Receive and forward all types of goods and deliveries to the correct storage area.
• Follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store area.
• Monitor inventory and compile orders based on par levels or needs.
• Maintain organized records and file reports and invoices.
• Verify goods arrived as per purchase order and delivery note.
• Store storage of food, beverage, and operational stock.
• Check storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene daily.
• Ensure store requisitions are signed by Department Heads.
• Update inventory management system with requisitions.
• Post invoices using the MMS system.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues.
• Assist with documentation of after-hours issues per internal controls.
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures for food and beverage.
• Conduct inventories and audits to determine levels.
• Support Accounts Payable in cost discrepancy investigations.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to order and receive items.
• Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and manage returns.
• Track received inventory and prepare inventory reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
