Job summary

Samtec in Singapore is seeking an Inventory Supervisor to manage stocking & replenishing of goods, oversee picking and shipment prep, and ensure the inventory system operates smoothly.

You will lead a team, own department KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, cost), and coordinate with manufacturing, compliance, logistics, and global inventory teams. Strong MS Office skills and a customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in inventory or logistics.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Learn new systems quickly.
• Customer service oriented with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead and supervise a team to meet organizational objectives.
• Be the area owner for performance metrics such as safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Maintain interdepartmental communications with manufacturing, compliance, logistics, supply chain, and global teams.
• Respond to departments for information regarding vendors, products, deliveries, etc.
• Determine work procedures, prepare schedules and expedite workflow.
• Issue written and oral instructions; assign duties and examine work for accuracy and conformance.
• Study and standardize procedures to improve storage, workflow, and efficiency.
• Maintain harmony among associates and resolve grievances.
• Interview and hire new employees.
• Coordinate with distribution center managers to align warehouse activities.
• Associates may be asked to perform additional tasks.
