Job summary

Samtec Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Inventory Supervisor to manage stocking, replenishment, picking, and shipment preparation, ensuring the inventory system runs smoothly.

You will lead a team, own performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery and cost, and drive continuous improvement in storage workflow. This role requires strong communication across manufacturing, logistics, compliance, and global teams, with hands-on experience in MS Office and warehouse procedures.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in inventory or logistics.
• Ability to multitask as priorities change quickly.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Customer service oriented with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead and supervise a team to achieve objectives.
• Own area performance metrics such as safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Maintain interdepartmental communications with various teams.
• Respond to departments requesting information about vendors, products, deliveries, etc.
• Determine work procedures, prepare schedules and expedite workflow.
• Issue written and oral instructions.
• Assign duties and examine work for accuracy and policy conformance.
• Study and standardize procedures to improve storage and workflow.
• Maintain harmony among associates and resolve grievances.
• Interview and hire new employees.
• Confer with managers to coordinate warehouse activities.
