Job summary

Peoplebank Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Business Coordinator for their Chemicals Business Unit to support international trading and logistics activities. You will coordinate shipments, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements across suppliers and customers.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and ability to handle multiple priorities while supporting process improvements in logistics workflows.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• 1+ year in logistics or trade operations; 3+ years for Diploma holders.
• Experience in chemical industry or bulk shipments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Incoterms, shipping documentation and ERP workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor import, export and offshore shipments from order placement through delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses and internal logistics teams for timely movement.
• Track shipment schedules and follow up on delays or issues promptly.
• Ensure shipment activities comply with contractual, trade and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate shipping documents including invoices, packing lists, BLs and origin certificates.
• Review documentation for completeness before submission to customers and counterparties.
• Support shipment tracking, inventory reporting and master data maintenance.
• Assist with contract/trade administrative activities and SOP maintenance.
