The Operations Technology Exploration team is exploring the use of synthetic personas: psychologically-grounded, AI-emulated profiles of clients and officers to strengthen how the Rehabilitation and Protection Group designs, trains and stress-tests operational tools, workflows, and practices.Synthetic personas allow operations officers to simulate realistic behaviours, needs, edge cases, or even potentially dangerous situations in a safe, controlled environment. This would give officers an opportunity to apply client management skills and professional judgement in a risk-free environment, and let supervisors evaluate and guide their officers based on how they’ve navigated their given scenarios.
ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will support this exploratory work at the intersection of psychology, human behaviour, and technology. They will contribute across one or more active AI projects, assisting with research, testing, documentation, and the design of practical use cases.
