Job summary

HYUCO Employment Agency Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an Interior Design Quantity Surveyor in the Tai Seng area. A Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 3 years in interior design or construction are required.

You will prepare BOQ, cost estimates, tender submissions, monitor budgets, negotiate subcontractor quotes, and manage claims and variations. Reading drawings and AutoCAD skills are valued. The role offers clear progression and local remuneration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 3+ years of interior design or construction experience.
• Ability to read architectural and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD basics.
• Experience with contract documentation and tender processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQ, cost estimates and tender cost comparisons.
• Prepare tender submissions and pricing strategies.
• Monitor costs and site expenses to stay within budget.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare monthly progress claims and cost analyses.
• Manage tender processes and questionnaires.
• Coordinate with suppliers for payments.
• Attend site meetings and monitor progress.
• Handle Variation Orders and final accounts.
• Manage contracts including EOT and loss & expense claims.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants on claims.
• Collaborate with project team to meet objectives.
