Job summary

HYUCO Employment Agency Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an Interior Design Quantity Surveyor in the Tai Seng area. A Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 3 years in interior design or construction are required.

You will prepare BOQ, cost estimates, tender submissions, monitor budgets, negotiate subcontractor quotes, and manage claims and variations. Reading drawings and AutoCAD skills are valued. The role offers clear progression and local remuneration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 3+ years of interior design or construction experience.
• Ability to read architectural and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD basics.
• Experience with contract documentation and tender processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQ, cost estimates and tender cost comparisons.

• Monitor costs and site expenses to stay within budget.

WE’RE HIRING – INTERIOR DESIGN QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS)

Salary: $3,000 – $5,000 Location: Tai Seng (CC11) Singapore Interior Design Company

Working Hours

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• 8 days off per month

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates and cost comparisons for tender projects
• Prepare tender submissions and work with management on pricing strategies
• Monitor project costs and site expenses to ensure projects remain within budget
• Source, evaluate and negotiate subcontractor quotations
• Prepare monthly progress claims and conduct cost analysis based on drawings and material requirements
• Manage tender processes, including tender questionnaires and interviews
• Monitor progress claims and coordinate with suppliers for timely payments
• Attend site meetings and monitor project progress
• Handle Variation Orders (VO) and prepare final accounts
• Handle contractual matters including EOT, loss & expense claims, terms and conditions
• Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants on claims and project matters
• Work closely with the project team to meet project requirements and objectives

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction, Architectural Design or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Interior Design / Construction
• Able to read and understand architectural & construction drawings
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience in contract documentation, tender submission and tender follow-up
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a Senior position
