Job summary

GAUGING & AUTOMATION PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to develop business opportunities in utility and energy monitoring across industries such as power, manufacturing, refineries, and HVAC systems.

You will blend sales responsibilities with basic technical discussions, focusing on instrumentation solutions for flow, temperature, energy metering and power monitoring, with training provided to grow into a solution sales role.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or related discipline.
1–5 years of experience in industrial sales, instrumentation/automation, HVAC/utilities/energy systems.
Fresh graduates welcome with strong interest in technical sales.
Basic knowledge of flow, temperature, pressure, and level measurement.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new opportunities in utility systems such as cooling water, steam, chilled water, compressed air, and energy monitoring.
Engage with end users, consultants, contractors, and system integrators; prepare and follow up on technical and commercial proposals.
Drive sales of instrumentation products and integrated solutions; provide basic technical clarification and support selection.
Build long-term relationships with key accounts and follow up on leads, quotations, and projects.
