Job summary

WAVELENGTH OPTO-ELECTRONIC (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an organized Inside Sales/Customer Service professional to manage from enquiry to delivery. You will prepare quotations, process orders, coordinate shipments, and ensure customers are well looked after.

This role suits a detail-oriented team player who can work independently, communicate clearly in English and Mandarin, and support the full sales fulfilment cycle from pre-sales to post-sales.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Sales/Marketing, CS, Admin, Logistics, or related field.
• Experience in inside sales, sales support, or industrial customer service is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented with responsibility for full sales fulfilment cycle.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers and suppliers.
• Fresh graduates welcome; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle pre-sales enquiries and prepare accurate quotations promptly.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and orders to help convert sales.
• Manage end-to-end order processing, including order entry, PO verification, and invoicing.
• Coordinate shipments with internal teams (logistics, warehouse) for on-time delivery.
• Provide post-sales support by updating customers on shipment status and gathering feedback.
• Assist with customer complaints, product returns, and replacements.

About the Role

You’ll be the main contact for customers from enquiry to delivery. You’ll prepare quotations, process orders, coordinate shipments with our internal teams, and make sure customers are well looked after the sale. This suits a detail-oriented person who enjoys keeping things running smoothly and dealing with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with internal teams (e.g. logistics, warehouse) to track shipment schedules and ensure on-time delivery;
• Provide post-sales support by updating customers on shipment status, gathering feedback, and meeting specific customer requirements;
• Assist with customer complaints, product returns, and replacements.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher in Sales/Marketing, Customer Service, Admin, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field;
• Experience in inside sales, sales support, or industrial customer service is an advantage;
• Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility for the full sales fulfilment cycle;
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, taking initiative to get things done;
• Good team player with high integrity and strong communication skills;
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin, to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers and suppliers;
