Job summary

NCS Group is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments in Singapore. You will manage virtualization, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization to ensure reliable application delivery.

Responsibilities include monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Strong Linux/Windows admin skills and cloud experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Splunk, or similar).
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Job Description

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure systems across on-premises and cloud environments
• Manage and optimize virtualization platforms, ensuring efficient resource allocation and system performance
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment processes
• Monitor system performance and health using monitoring and logging tools; analyze metrics to identify optimization opportunities
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues systematically and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, ensuring security patches, updates, and compliance with organizational standards
• Manage containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and orchestration
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure infrastructure meets application requirements
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures in a clear and organized manner
• Participate in incident response activities and contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing
• Stay current with infrastructure technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing)
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, or KVM)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Splunk, or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multi‑cloud environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
• Experience with configuration management and CMDB systems
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Experience with performance optimization and capacity planning
• Relevant infrastructure certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or similar)
