Job summary

NCS, a leading AI tech services company in Singapore, is seeking a motivated IT Systems Associate to assist design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure across servers, networks, storage and cloud services. You will monitor performance, support users, implement security measures, document configurations, and help with upgrades and backups.

Candidates with a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Computer Science and exposure to Linux are encouraged to apply; open to those with 1–2 years’ IT experience

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Acceptable alternatives (e.g., equivalent work experience, IT certifications).
• 1–2 years of IT experience; open to fresh graduates.
• Experience in IT and exposure to Linux is advantageous.
• Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure across servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
• Write scripts for operation usage and document configurations and changes.
• Monitor system performance, security, and availability; troubleshoot issues.
• Perform regular upgrades, patches, and backups.
• Implement and manage security measures; conduct security assessments.
• Create documentation and reports on system performance and improvements.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users; address inquiries promptly.

Job Description

Assist in System Design and Implementation:

• Assist in Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
• Able to write script for the operation usage.
• Develop and implement system configurations, procedures, and documentation.

System Maintenance and Support:

• Monitor and maintain system performance, security, and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and backups.

Security Management:

• Implement and manage security measures to protect systems, data, and networks.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits.

Documentation and Reporting:>

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Generate reports on system performance, issues, and improvements.
• Customer Support:
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly

Qualifications

• Degree holder Bachelor’s in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Acceptable alternatives (e.g., equivalent work experience, certifications in IT domain).
• Relevant experience for 1 or 2 years. Also open to candidates without prior working experience.
• Experience in IT.
• Exposure to Linux Environment will be advantage.
• Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
