Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support specialist to provide L1/L2 BAU support for servers, networks, and related IT infrastructure in a data centre environment.

You will perform Windows Server patching, basic troubleshooting, network device support (Aruba/HP/Cisco), incident management, and maintain documentation, with after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• Experience in Infrastructure/ System/ Network support in a data centre.
• Hands-on data centre environment experience.
• Experience providing L1/L2 infrastructure support.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server and patching.
• Familiarity with Aruba, HP and Cisco equipment.
• Comfortable troubleshooting hardware, OS and infra issues.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 infrastructure BAU support for servers, networks and related IT infrastructure.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and incident resolution for Windows servers, network devices and connectivity issues.
• Support day-to-day operations within a data centre environment, including equipment checks, monitoring and basic infrastructure maintenance.
• Perform Windows Server patching, updates and post-patching verification.
• Support network infrastructure including Aruba, HP and Cisco switches and related devices.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting involving connectivity, switches, ports, VLANs and IP-related issues.
• Perform basic server troubleshooting, including OS, services, disk space, performance and connectivity issues.
• Assist with hardware installation, replacement, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Monitor infrastructure health and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Escalate complex infrastructure issues to the relevant L2/L3 teams or vendors.
• Maintain accurate documentation, incident records and infrastructure checklists.
• Work with internal teams and vendors to ensure infrastructure issues are resolved within agreed timelines.
• Support infrastructure maintenance, patching, upgrades and other BAU activities as required.
• Follow IT security, change management and operational procedures.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Infrastructure / System / Network Support.
• Hands‑on experience working in a data centre environment.
• Experience providing L1/L2 infrastructure support.
• Good working knowledge of Windows Server and experience with Windows Server patching.
• Basic troubleshooting knowledge of network and server infrastructure.
• Experience with or exposure to Aruba, HP and/or Cisco network equipment.
• Familiarity with switches, VLANs, IP addressing and basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Comfortable troubleshooting hardware, operating system and infrastructure-related issues.
• Willingness to participate in maintenance activities and occasional after‑hours support when required.

• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Exposure to VMware or other virtualization technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Basic knowledge of backup solutions.
• Experience with ITIL / ITSM and ticketing systems.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft, CompTIA or ITIL.
