Job summary

JDA WMS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a proactive Inside Sales/Business Development professional to initiate outbound calls, present company products, and identify new business opportunities in manufacturing and industrial sectors.

You will generate and qualify leads for the Sales team, maintain accurate activity records, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to drive engagement and outcomes. Training will be provided, and a targets-driven attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.
• Training will be provided.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging new contacts over the telephone.
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and business contacts.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Comfortable working with targets and performance-based activities.
• Self-motivated, persistent and able to handle repeated customer outreach professionally.
• Prior experience in inside sales, telesales, telemarketing, customer service, lead generation or B2B sales support will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers and contacts within the manufacturing and industrial sectors.
• Introduce the company's products and services in a clear and professional manner.
• Identify potential customer needs, applications and business opportunities through telephone conversations.
• Generate and qualify new leads for the Sales team.
• Gather relevant customer information and ensure qualified opportunities are properly communicated to the appropriate Sales team members.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, customer information, lead status and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams on lead-generation and customer-engagement activities.
• Follow up with prospective customers where appropriate to support lead development.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication when engaging new and existing business contacts.
• Participate in product, sales and communication training to develop knowledge of the company's solutions and target industries.
• Support other sales and marketing activities or projects as assigned.
