Job summary

TEMP-TEAM PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join the sales team. You will work with customers to understand their technical requirements and propose suitable industrial equipment and process solutions.

Responsibilities include preparing technical proposals, quotations, and presentations, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver customised solutions that meet customer needs. The role requires strong communication and the ability to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Entry level with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
• Experience in engineering sales or powder processing systems and equipment will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to travel occasionally for customer meetings or project discussions.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers' technical requirements and recommend suitable equipment and process solutions.
• Review technical enquiries and interpret customer specifications.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and costing based on customer requirements.
• Conduct technical presentations and participate in technical clarification meetings with customers.
• Provide process design and application support, including process flow diagrams and process layouts.
• Liaise with factories and overseas counterparts for technical information and quotations.
• Work closely with the drafting and engineering teams to develop customised solutions.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers throughout the sales process.
