Job summary

YT Automation Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to drive growth in automation solutions across Singapore and Malaysia. The role focuses on expanding customer accounts, building strong relationships with system integrators, and delivering effective sales strategies through targeted markets.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in electronics or engineering, 1–2 years in automation, and strong communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Engineering, Industrial, Mechatronics, or Mechanical.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience or entry-level candidates with strong interest in industrial automation.
• Familiarity or prior experience with industrial or factory automation systems.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and results-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to undergo product and solution training.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts to achieve sales targets within assigned segments and channels.
• Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests.
• Build and strengthen relationships with system integrators, consultants, and end-users to enhance market presence.
• Promote and sell a comprehensive range of industrial automation products and solutions to meet customer needs.
• Conduct regular customer visits and calls to maintain excellent account management and foster strong customer relationships.
• Analyze customer requirements to design effective sales strategies and identify suitable automation solutions.
• Deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients to drive sales conversion.
• Prepare and present customized solution proposals and quotations aligned with customer specifications.
• Support and participate in marketing activities including seminars, exhibitions, and training events to increase brand awareness.
