As Indirect and Greenfield Leader, APJ, you will lead a team that will digitally modernize our AWS sales reps’ engagements with partners. You will build and execute Amazon mechanisms (which involves process and tools creation and implementation) to solve problems and increase partner engagement rates of AWS sales reps within the APJ Cloud Sales Center teams.

Your primary responsibilities are to create and continuously iterate the mechanisms you are assigned. You will have the exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally and cross-geographically to identify problems and gaps, collect and analyze data, generate insights, come up with solutions/mechanisms, and implement them.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders across different functions and levels to help in the ‘digital transformation’ of our AWS sales force. You will also work closely with our sales teams and the AWS partner ecosystem to remove blockers and deliver value to our customers.

A successful candidate is eager to learn and develop himself/herself, and is a driven self-starter with a deep interest in technology. He/she embraces the ambiguity of creating new mechanisms, designed to be eventually automated or handed over to other teams once the mechanisms are running well and have achieved their goals of solving the problem.

Basic qualifications
  • 7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
  • Distributor relationships across APJ at a CXO level
  • Demonstrable outcomes with Distributor led Sales Motions and Programs from a Cloud Hyperscaler background.
Preferred qualifications
  • 8+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
  • Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams
  • Deep experience across APJ Channel and Distributor communities.
