Job summary

Align Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking an Import or Export Customer Service professional in Singapore. You will handle export and import workflows, ensure compliance, and coordinate with sales, operations, and customers from Alps Ave near Changi Airport.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Cargowise One to manage bookings, cargo deliveries, and monthly reporting. Working hours are Mon-Sat, 9am-5.30pm, with alternate Sat half-day.

Qualifications

• Relevant working experience.
• Must have Cargowise One system experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct Customer Contact: Excellent, amiable, and trustworthy service is provided.
• After receiving the booking, be sure you give the customer the flight information within the allotted time (one hour).
• When processing the export work order, make sure that the export documents are compliant.
• Apply for the appropriate export permission and expedite the processing of other export customs.
• All calls must be answered within three ringing tones. (without fail)
• Always keep an eye on the onboard status and notify the customer of any irregularities.
• Good communication between all relevant departments, such as the planning team, operations, warehouse, and traffic.
• Making sure that the applicable freight rates are accurate and up to current at all times.
• Always aware of and up to date on any new requirements or modifications made by airlines or the government.
• Make sure that every monthly customer report is consistently submitted on time.
• Communicating with internal and external parties regarding the management and status of shipments.
• Making sure that every shipment is properly tracked and organized in accordance with SOP.
• Working on unique arrangements with sales and other function groups.
• Creating bills, reports, and scheduling cargo deliveries using the Cargowise One system.
• Collaborate closely with coworkers, clients, suppliers, and operations and sales colleagues that reports, bills, and cargo delivery arrangements are accurate, timely, and comprehensive.
• Reports to track and revise every day.
• Excellent verbal and email communication abilities. Practice writing and speaking, being sure to get acknowledgements to finish the communication process.
• Able to communicate effectively with Sales, Customer Service, and the client to fulfill duties on time.
• Extremely tidy and well-organized at work.
• Effective follow-ups; basically, possessing fundamental knowledge of key account management.
