Job summary

Crystal Offshore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced site supervisor for hydraulic systems servicing and repairs on winches, mooring systems, BOP cranes and related equipment. You will oversee field activities, ensure compliance with safety standards, and coordinate between engineering and operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 6–8 years of oil and gas rig activation experience, with proven ability to prepare method statements, risk assessments, and progress

Qualifications

• Ideally, a Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• 6-8 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity within the Oil and Gas Rig activation Industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, Project controls, and Repair work processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for servicing hydraulic systems in winches, mooring systems, BOP cranes and related equipment.
• Supervise site hydraulic system repair activities and commissioning checklists.
• Prepare progress reports and handle claims when needed.
• Interpret drawings and coordinate with Engineering for inquiries.
• Conduct material take-offs and evaluate vendor quotations.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments for installation tasks.
• Develop monthly work schedules and monitor project timelines.
• Prioritize safety and enforce HSE rules on site.

Job Description:

• Responsible for Servicing Hydraulic system in Winches & Mooring systems, Hose Reel, HPU, Valve Unit Skid, BOP Cranes and all type of Cranes, BOP elevators, X-mas Tree Carriers, CTU, Sheaves, Catwalk Machine, Finger Board Equipment. BOP Stack Assembly and Drilling Systems, Riser pipe joint & Riser Telescope joint service.

• Responsible for the site Hydraulic system repair activities. Supervising in preparation with commissioning responsibility, pressure test, leak testing, hydro test, commissioning check lists, arranges equipment testing, coordinate between different pipeline activities of workers engaged in installing, installation ensuring work is carried out in accordance with relevant Codes, Standards and Procedures in respect of Safety, marking and checking weld maps on isometrics, insulation requirement, make progress reports.

• Responsible for All Hydraulic Winches, Motors, Power Steering Gear, All Dredging Cutter Motors Overhauling & All Types Valves & Pumps.

• Assist in project planning, prepare progress reports, and handle claims as needed.

• Interpret construction and technical drawings, coordinating with the Engineering team to address technical inquiries.

• Conduct material take-offs and evaluate vendor quotations, considering both technical and commercial aspects.

• Prepare method statements and risk assessments for various installation tasks.

• Develop monthly work schedules and set productivity targets.

• Monitor and control project schedules to ensure timely completion.

• Take proactive measures to prevent non-conformities

• Prioritize safety by creating a secure working environment and adhering to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) rules

Job Specifications:

• Ideally, a Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications

• Preferably possess 6-8 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity within the Oil and Gas Rig activation Industry.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, Project controls, and Repair work processes.
