Job summary

PH Hydraulics & Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a capable Supervisor to plan, schedule and monitor hydraulic and mechanical work, including tools, manpower, material and reporting.

You will lead technicians, coordinate with fabrication, machining and assembly teams, drive corrective actions for non-conforming jobs, and push for process improvements and equipment upgrades. Travel overseas on short notice is required to support offshore hydraulic equipment servicing.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics.
• Hands-on experience in industrial hydraulics and servicing of offshore hydraulic equipment is preferred.
• Able to travel overseas on short notice.
• Able to read simple hydraulics schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor tasks including preparing tools, manpower, material and reporting.
• Execute troubleshooting, repair, assembly, testing and commissioning of hydraulics and mechanical machinery.
• Manage and lead a team of technicians and coordinate with fabrication, machining and assembly teams.
• Initiate corrective actions for non-conforming jobs by liaising with relevant parties.
• Aim to improve work processes and upgrade equipment.

• Execute tasks in troubleshooting, repair, assembly, testing and commissioning of hydraulics and mechanical machinery
• Manage and lead a team of technicians and have close work relationship with various sections in fabrication, machining and assembly team
• Initiate corrective actions for non-confirming jobs by liaising with the relevant parties involved
• To improve on work processes and equipment upgrades
