ST ENGINEERING LAND MRO & SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Hydraulic Maintenance Engineer to deliver essential maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for hydraulic systems. Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in hydraulic fields or MRO services with a degree.
• 5 years of experience in hydraulic fields or MRO services with a diploma.
• Certified Reliability Engineer is a plus.

Job description

This position is to render Hydraulic maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) support and services to the business units under the ST Engineering Land Systems structure. The incumbent needs to work to incorporate cost efficient methods for the MRO of various Hydraulic components or systems in various stages of their service life. Usually work under direction of Head of Department.

Job Description

Deliver Hydraulic support services including but not limited to the following:

• Provide engineering support to proprietary and non-proprietary products.
• Conduct failure investigation and prepares reports for problems or issues based on findings from facts, research, studies and makes necessary recommendations and submits to relevant authority for approval.
• Prepares and studies technical drawings, specifications of hydraulic systems inclusive of cylinders, pumps & motors and scope of work to ensure MRO operations conform to standards and customers' requirements.
• Documents work procedures based on technical requirements for the MRO components.
• Analyse and interpret test information to resolve repaired problems.
• Training, planning, assigning, and directing of work to a group of technicians; appraising, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Appoint to be lead for a platform to ensure that MRO Component serviceability is met at all times.
• Incumbent will also be assigned to prepare and propose proactive approaches to new capability build ups.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical engineering with 2 year of working experience related to Hydraulic fields or MRO Services.
• Diploma in Mechanical engineering with 5 years of working experience related to Hydraulic fields or MRO Services.
• Certified Reliability Engineer will be an added advantage.
• Able to read and understand hydraulic circuit drawings.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and strong ability to work within a team.
• Perform literature searches on the subject area for MRO in hydraulic system especially in cylinders, pumps & motors.
• Able to assist in providing technology solutions to overcome more complex MRO systems so to allow work focuses upon the effective integration of people, processes, tools and technology in order to improve the MRO into the next level.
• Good interpersonal & communication skills.
• Ability to present ideas, approach and objectives clearly.
• Work under pressure, independent and self-motivated.
• The ability to be a good listener and understand customers' problems or queries and assist them to resolve.
