Job summary

BLOOMFOSS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of projects across engineering teams and clients.

Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, tracking progress, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring milestones are met. Ideal candidates hold an engineering qualification with 1–3 years of related experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant project engineering experience, preferably in hydraulics, actuators, marine or related industries.
• Good project coordination and communication skills.
• Able to liaise confidently with clients, vendors and internal teams.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects or tasks.
• Highly organised and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Review project contracts, technical specifications, drawings and other project documents.
• Assist the Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager in project planning, kick-off and coordination meetings.
• Monitor project progress against planned schedules and assist in identifying delays, risks and necessary corrective actions.
• Attend site and technical meetings and communicate effectively with clients, vendors and project teams.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into clear and actionable project plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, stakeholders and classification bodies to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.
• Assist with engineering and technical issues and coordinate with relevant engineering support teams for solutions.
• Prepare and submit technical documents, drawings, progress reports and other project documentation as required.
• Monitor project timeline, budget, deliverables and overall project status.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and project handover or close-out documentation.
• Ensure project milestones, deadlines and quality requirements are achieved.
• Assist in obtaining final client acceptance in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the immediate superior or management.
